WONKY CHOCS

Staying true to our eco-ethos, we don't like waste and we'd certainly hate throwing perfectly tasty chocolates away!

This 200g assortment contains the broken souls of our handmade (by Kay), small batch chocolate that didn't make the cut.

There may also be some other chocolately goodies from our other ranges too if they've made it into our wonky pile too!

Zero waste means zero waste!  They'll be packaged like all our other varieties in a plant-based (plastic free) pouch that's home compostable and fully recyclable.  Even our stickers compost and are made from vegan inks and glue.

Your pouch will contain testers and samples that have never made it to sale aswell as lots of broken, bloomed and scuffed chocolate.

It's pot luck - We can't guarantee what will be included or that you'll get the same every time due to the nature of these wonky noms.  We'll try to give you a reasonable mix of at least a few different varieties when we can though.

This is more than just chocolate! Its kind to animals, the planet and kind to people too.

We've sourced ethical, single origin chocolate from two family based companies in Colombia and West Africa - with some amazing values and ethics.

One has a fantastic vision for a better Colombia - working to improve farmer income and education, enabling environmental balance in cocoa-growing communities and driving social change.

They run a private non-profit organisation which contributes to the social and economic development in Colombia. They have trained more than 500 teachers, benefiting over 12,000 students and supported over 1,400 children and young adults through music and sports programmes. The family run company supports over 7,500 Colombian families, many of which reside in areas of armed conflict or where illicit crops are grown.

The other organisation works hard in West Africa to monitor ethics throughout it's entire supply chain.  Helping farmers to prosper through productivity initiatives, zero child labour in it's workforce and requiring no deforestation to maintain climate/carbon positive conditions.

They help 40,000 farmers tackle challenges including limited knowledge of good agricultural practices (which helped them double their yield per hectare by 2018), aging farms and depleted soil; limited access to education, medical facilities, and safe drinking water; and lack of financing options, infrastructure, and transportation.

Both companies continue their mission to focus this year and beyond on increasing farmer field schools, academies, mobile educational trucks, and the total number of trained farmers in healthier communities.
